Session Overview

The CMHC has two primary offerings for supporting First Nations seeking to build capacity in their housing departments – the Indigenous Skills Training program that supports capacity activities to improve housing outcomes for First Nations and the Housing Internship for Indigenous Youth, which provides a wage subsidy for applicants to hire an Indigenous youth between 15 and 30 years of age to gain work experience in housing. Join us to learn more about both opportunities, how to access the programs and hear about some of the program’s success stories.
