The First Nations Housing Conference (FNHC) is Canada’s largest and longest-running event dedicated to First Nations housing. It brings together community leaders, housing professionals, and government representatives from across the country to connect with suppliers, attend workshops, and collaborate on housing solutions.
First Nations Housing Conference is ideal for housing professionals both in technical and administrative departments, Housing Managers, Chief & Council, and companies dedicated to housing solutions within First Nation communities.
The FNHC Conference is a national event that unites attendees from all across Canada. In recent history, it has been held in Thunder Bay, ON; the location is determined annually based on attendee feedback and logistical feasibility.

It is possible to cancel your registration if your travel is delayed or impacted by unforeseen or circumstances beyond your control. If you need to cancel your registration, kindly contact us at (807) 622-1979.

There is no limit on the number of people who can register per community.
Affiliates receive a maximum of two free passes to attend the conference, and every additional affiliate will cost an additional $600 for admission.
If you are an affiliate delegate please note that each Affiliate community is entitled to have ONE ROOM covered by the conference for up to four nights with a maximum of two guests per room.
If you are a non-affiliate delegate, travel and accommodation costs are the responsibility of the delegate.
Yes. The following meals are provided for all delegates attending in person:
– Breakfast and lunch on Day 1, Day 2, and Day 3
– Banquet dinner on the evening of Day 2 (Wednesday)
The speakers vary each year and are carefully selected based on the conference theme and topics. Typically, speakers are housing professionals, subject matter experts, and community leaders who bring valuable insights and are dedicated to advancing positive change within the First Nations Housing Community.
